Week 13 means it’s time for the latest Trading Paints season recap, a time for those of us statistically inclined to learn what happened in the colorful world of Trading Paints over the past season.
A total of 918,685 new custom paints were assigned in 2025 Season 4, totaling over 3.8 trillion pixels. Way to make the track a more colorful place!
Top Color Codes Used in Season 4

These were the most frequently-occurring colors from new custom iRacing paints assigned in Season 4.
Red — the plain and simple red-as-it-can-get #FF0000 — again took the top spot, followed by newcomers #223B82 (a lovely blue hue) and teal #00695D following.
Most-Raced Showroom Paints in Season 4

Jason Drabble’s HRT NURBURGRING SPECIAL upload was the most-raced paint from the Showroom in Season 4, totaling just under 2,000 instances raced.
Gabriel G.’s Aston Martin Vantage GT3 EVO concept was second-most raced, followed by Yicheng Miao’s lovely Aston Martin Vantage GT3 EVO replica.

Most Favorited Showroom Paints in Season 4

Patryk A.’s AO Racing Skeleton Rexy replica earned the most favorites of any Showroom paint in Season 4, with 615 favorites total.
Most-raced paint HRT NURBURGRING SPECIAL from Jason Drabble earned the second-most favorites, followed by the Verstappen.com Racing Aston Martin from Yicheng Miao.

In Season 4 alone, 243,599 favorites were handed out from members. Send your favorite painter some love by remembering to hit the favorite paints on paints you enjoy!
Most Popular Painters in Season 4

The venerable Don Craig and Paul R Chaloner swapped top spots from Season 3, followed by Brantley Roden earning a spot on the top-painters podium in Season 4 as well.
Honorable mention: Patryk A. (2,531 favorites), John Rubino (2,509), Karsten B. (2,302), Clyde Coman (1,962), Stephane Parent (1,888), Frank Amend (1,781), Samuel J Ball (1,642).
Most Popular Vehicles in Season 4

The new Aston Martin Vantage GT3 EVO was a popular car to paint, racking up 33,006 total custom paints in its debut season. The Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) followed closely behind with 27,368 new custom paints, with the podium-frequenting Global Mazda MX5-Cup in third with 25,161 paints assigned.
It’s the first time we’ve seen an oval-racing shut-out in the top 3. (OK, this is only our sixth edition of the season recap, but still.)
