2026 Season 1 by the numbers: a single-season record!

Our season-ending recap takes a look at the 2026 iRacing Season 1 by the numbers.

2026 Season 1 by the numbers: a single-season record!

Another Week 13 means it’s time for another Trading Paints season recap, a time for the statistically inclined to learn what happened in the colorful world of Trading Paints over the past iRacing season.

First, a total of 1,139,606 new custom paints were assigned in 2026 Season 1, which equates to just over 4.7 trillion pixels. That’s a lot of color you’ve added to the track — and a new all-time single-season Trading Paints record!

Top Color Codes Used in Season 1

These colors appeared most frequently in those 1.1 million new paints uploaded over the last 13 weeks.

Once again, bright-red #FF0000 was the most common color, followed by a green #00AE42 and the return of #FECE02 yellow.

Most Raced Showroom Paints in Season 1

The creative FIA Cross Car Toy Story RC paint from Don Craig was the most popular paint in 2026 Season 1 (and an earlier Paint of the Week selection), followed by Joshua JD Miller’s Porsche Cup Mobil 1 Penske Porsche concept. In third place was 2025 AO Racing - Rexy - Porsche 992.2 GT3 Cup Rawr from Patryk A.

Honorable mention:

2025 Oracle Red Bull Racing - Porsche Cup by Issam Er-Rabhi - Trading Paints
This livery is inspired by the 2025 Oracle Red Bull Racing F1 team and their drivers, Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda. It has all the decals (most of them). If you are going to divebomb someone, do it in style, I guess. Questions are welcome, send me a dm, and I’ll try to reply! (Update: The B-pillar is now paintable after the latest patch, and looks bad because it essentially has the grey from the mask. Please race the updated livery where I fixed it.)

Rolex Watch Misc Custom Green & Gold Livery by Nathaniel Redmon - Trading Paints
Green and Gold Rolex livery, not based on any true Cup car, just for fun. Other watch brands featured. 12.15.25 - Updated to fix A-Pillar iRacing Update

Raced 1,294 times in 2026 Season 1

Most Favorited Showroom Paints in Season 1

The Porsche Cup Mobil 1 Penske Porsche paint concept from Joshua JD Miller earned more favorites than any paint in 2026 Season 1, followed by 2025 AO Racing - Rexy - Porsche 992.2 GT3 Cup Rawr from Patryk A. and Rolex Watch Misc Custom Green & Gold Livery from Nathaniel Redmon.

Honorable mention:

The community hit that favorite button a total of 313,582 times in 2026 Season 1, a 28.7 percent increase from 2025 Season 4. Way to spread the love! Don’t forget to press the Favorite button when you see a paint you like — it makes every painter’s day.

Veteran painters Paul R Chaloner and Don Craig exchanged places atop the most-favorited painters list in Season 1, followed again by Brantley Roden.

There’s a lot of Porsche on this podium! The Porsche 911 Cup (992.2) was, perhaps unsurprisingly, the vehicle with the most new paints uploaded in Season 1, ahead of the Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) by some 17,000 paints. The refreshed NASCAR Cup Series Next Gen Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 returned to the top three, leading the way for oval-racing cars.

Thanks to everyone in the Trading Paints community for making iRacing a more colorful place this season! 🏁
