🎨 Daytona 24 Proving Grounds Challenge Wraps Up

The latest Proving Grounds Challenge is in the books! We asked you to share what you’re racing in last weekend’s iRacing Daytona 24, and the community turned out in style, leading to a record-breaking number of Proving Grounds entries. We can only hope your cars raced as fresh and clean as they looked.

We shared a few of our favorite paints over on Instagram and handed out some credits for the Trading Paints Store to some participants, too.

We were quite partial to this ride from Tyler Tucker, which unfortunately retired early in the iRacing Daytona 24.

Keep an eye out for another Proving Grounds Challenge soon! 👀

🧑‍🎨 ICYMI: Davin Cornelius in the Spotlight

In our first Artist Spotlight of 2026, popular sim painter Davin Cornelius (a.k.a. DriveThrough Design) shared his journey from Need for Speed Carbon on PS2 to NASCAR Racing 2003 Season to iRacing to even creating on-track designs.

🏎️ Staff Picks

Team Trading Paints sees plenty of new paints every week. Here are a few we’re digging currently.

Team Penske - transporter inspired by Tyler Tucker - Trading Paints
I decided to do a “what if” Porsche left IMSA and Team Penske kept running the GTP as a privateer. This is inspired from their famous transporter design that’s been used since the 90s.
2026 BMW F1 Livery Concept iR04 by Alex Schmurtz - Trading Paints
Inspired by the 2026 BMW F1 livery concept from Sean Bull. Carbon texture by Simon Ermisch.
Will Brown #33 WD40 Concept by Skyler Fox4 - Trading Paints
Super Taikyu Endless GR86 by Alex Schmurtz - Trading Paints
Inspired by the Endless Toyota GR86 competing in the Japanese Super Taikyu Series, in the ST-4 class.
2026 Racing Bulls VCARB 03 for F4 by Paul R Chaloner - Trading Paints
Replica livery of the 2026 Racing Bulls VCARB 03 for F4 as driven by Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad complete with custom decals, lines, shapes, colours, carbon and specmap.

“The first shot here is such a good example of what you can do if you get in and play with the camera a bit in iRacing when getting your shots. It makes the F4 look way sleeker than it actually is.” –Julian, Creative
