This Week on Trading Paints: March 21, 2025
News and updates from the world of Trading Paints from the past week.

Welcome to This Week on Trading Paints, the pulse on what’s happening in the Trading Paints world while you’re checking out everybody’s funky ARCA car modifications (or, well, hoping for the best at Sebring).
✨ What’s New
- Following iRacing’s Monday patch, the trio of ARCA cars — the Chevrolet SS, Ford Mustang, and Toyota Camry — now have AI opponent support. That means these vehicles now have support for AI-Ready Collections on Trading Paints, too.
- We realize the Trading Paints site and Downloader have been a bit slower than ideal during peak racing hours, which is common in the first week following a new iRacing build. We’ve made some changes to improve performance under heavy load — thanks for hanging in there!
- The new circular badge shirts in the Trading Paints Store are going quickly. Guess we’ll have to make some more designs soon.
🗓️ Coming Soon
- Our Trading Paints brand site is now technically live, but not released to the public yet or linked on Trading Paints. We’ll share the link with you, though, loyal blog reader!
🌟 Fresh Official Paints
We’ve got a whole bunch of new Verified Official paints on the Showroom this week. Here’s everything that just dropped.

🏆 Paint of the Week
Oscar Enriquez painted a replica of Brayton Laster’s Daytona ride in the ARCA Menards Series. It’s a simple base design, but what caught our Community Manager Patrick’s eye to elevate it to Paint of the Week status was the attention to detail — this car’s got a lot of tiny logos on it, and as any painter remaking a real-world car knows, tracking each of those logos down is no small feat. Well done, Oscar!

🤔 Don’t Forget!
With the March 11 launch of iRacing’s Season 2 build, some oval cars have some updated manufacturer badging — including the NASCAR Xfinity Series Ford Mustang. You might need to re-race your Paint Builder projects to apply the latest changes, or grab the newest Photoshop templates.

🎉 Special Shoutout
While not necessarily a painting-related shoutout this week, we’d like to share a hearty congratulations to Josh Berry for winning his first-career NASCAR Cup Series race Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, driving for Wood Brothers Racing (friend of Trading Paints).
Josh joined Trading Paints as a member on Day 1 of our public launch in 2010. His journey to becoming a Cup Series winner is a true example of sim racing to real-world racing success, and a perfect picture of hard work and determination. Congrats, Josh!
