This Week on Trading Paints: May 30, 2025
News and updates from the world of Trading Paints from the past week.

Welcome to This Week on Trading Paints, the pulse on what’s happening in the Trading Paints world while you’re admiring last weekend’s race winners’ iRatings.
👀 New Artist Spotlight coming soon
The June installment of our Artist Spotlight series drops Sunday. We caught up with an artist who has experience working for a racing series as well as a race team, with expertise in paint scheme design, illustration, and beyond. Keep an eye out!
✨ Feeling shiny?
On Instagram, we occasionally share some of our favorite spec map finishes with the specific values needed to achieve a particular look on your iRacing cars. This week, we shared a new one we’ve dubbed “Shiny Side Up” — and we’ve also started an archive of our budding collection, right here on the Trading Paints Blog. We’ll be sure to share more over time.
🧑💻 Help us test new Downloader features
We’ve mentioned this one for the past few weeks, but our Beta program for Trading Paints Downloader is back. The Beta is an opportunity to try out some new features before they’re released to the public. If you want to help us test new stuff (like faster downloads!) and track down bugs, take a look at the Downloader Beta.
🌟 Fresh Official Paints
Some new Verified Official Paints made it to the Showroom recently, if you’re a fan of bringing the real world to the virtual world.
