News and updates from the world of Trading Paints from the past week.

This Week on Trading Paints: November 14, 2025

Welcome to This Week on Trading Paints, the pulse on what’s happening in the Trading Paints world while you’re salivating over the November 2025 iRacing development update.

🧑‍🎨 ICYMI: Michael Miceli a.k.a. RaceArtist in the spotlight

November’s Artist Spotlight features Michael Miceli (known around the internet as RaceArtist) a designer who’s spent decades designing some of the most creative and memorable paint schemes on the NASCAR circuit — including what’s become his specialty, Halloween-themed cars, complete with unique character illustrations. We learned more about Michael’s story, his process, and some advice.

🧑‍💻 Web development note about local network access

In some browsers like Google Chrome on Windows, you may notice a new prompt when browsing the Trading Paints website or Paint Builder asking for local network access.

Enabling this option, which we recommend, allows Trading Paints Downloader to continue communicating with the website seamlessly. When using Paint Builder, this is especially important so you can preview your designs using Sim Preview.

This behavior has been the default and in place on tradingpaints.com for a very long time, but starting with Google Chrome 142, you’ll now see a prompt.

🌟 Fresh Official Paint

There’s a new Verified Official Paint in the Showroom this week.
