This Week on Trading Paints: September 19, 2025

Welcome to This Week on Trading Paints, the pulse on what’s happening in the Trading Paints world while you’re admiring some Asian sports car racing liveries.

📊 Season 3 by the numbers

Our Season 3 statistical wrap-up is out, where we shared the top painters, popular paints, and even the top colors from the last iRacing season on Trading Paints. Collectively, over a million new paints were assigned in the last 13 weeks alone! Check out the full season recap.

#️⃣ More new Number Builder updates

Following last week’s big upgrade to Number Builder, which added a Showroom, gradients, remixing, and more, we released a second batch of updates Wednesday. The latest update adds member profile pages, a zoom-to-fit option, and a ton of improvements.

🎁 New: Upload categories in Paint Builder

If you’re a fan of organization, you’ll love this week’s update in Paint Builder. We added the ability to categorize or tag logos or layers you’ve uploaded so that it’s easy to find what you’re looking for, especially if your My Uploads list is growing as long as ours.

You can read about this week’s Paint Builder update, which also includes some performance improvements and bug fixes.

🧑‍🎨 ICYMI: Brendan Droppo in the spotlight

If you haven’t already checked it out, the latest in our Artist Spotlight Series focuses on Ontario, Canada’s Brendan Droppo, the designer of choice for the likes of Jimmie Johnson and LEGACY MOTOR CLUB. Read the full interview to learn how Brendan made his climb to become one of the foremost artists in the NASCAR world.
