This Week on Trading Paints: September 5, 2025
News and updates from the world of Trading Paints from the past week.

Welcome to This Week on Trading Paints, the pulse on what’s happening in the Trading Paints world while you’re getting ready for the new iRacing build.
🧑🎨 Brendan Droppo in the spotlight

The latest in our Artist Spotlight Series focuses on Ontario, Canada’s Brendan Droppo, the designer of choice for the likes of Jimmie Johnson and LEGACY MOTOR CLUB. Read the full interview to learn how Brendan made his climb to become one of the foremost artists in the NASCAR world.
👀 Artists wanted!
We’re looking for artists, creators and designers to highlight in future editions of our monthly Artist Spotlight features. Do you know somebody in the racing world — virtual or not — deserving of some recognition? Let us know Instagram and Bluesky.
🎨 We updated the Gen 4 templates in Paint Builder
It’s a small change, but a welcome one. As requested, the Gen 4 2003 stock car templates in Paint Builder have been updated to separate more decal-stamped items into their own layers for better control over which parts of the car you’re painting. New projects will now have separate layers for door and nose contingency stickers, as well as the paintable headlight, taillight, and car parts.
🌟 Fresh Official Paints
Some new Verified Official Paints have dropped in the Showroom this week. (Good news for Brandon Jones fans!)
