The most popular car numbers of 2026 and more Number Day statistics

Today is 8/3 (we know, we know — it’s 3/8 in much of the world, but 8/3 looks like the Number Builder logo), the second Trading Paints Number Day. We’re celebrating with a giveaway on Instagram, sharing insights from artists on the blog, and just generally having a fun time playing around with Number Builder.

To celebrate, we’re sharing some statistics and numbers for you number-minded readers and racers.

Some more numbers on numbers

In total, 694,481 Custom Number paints were assigned since last year’s Number Day.

858 different numbers have been assigned in the past year, when counting triple-digit numbers — yes, amazingly, that means over 140 iRacing-legal numbers were not used on custom paints at all in the past year!

Repeat-digit numbers (e.g. 11, 22, 333) accounted for 103,314 Custom Number paints since last year.

Palindromic triple-digit numbers (e.g. 101, 747 999) appeared 3,204 times in the past year.

We hope you enjoyed this year’s number stats. Keep using Number Builder and we’ll keep sharing numbers on numbers. Happy Number Day!
