Welcome to This Week on Trading Paints, the pulse on what’s happening in the Trading Paints world.
🏁 Proving Grounds Challenge #6: the results are in!
The team has spoken and we have a winner.

Our friends at Hunt the Front selected Joshua Wright3 to design the team’s wrap for the World 100 as a result of his entry in our latest Proving Grounds Challenge from last month, where dozens of painters auditioned for the role by designing a generic Trading Paints & Hunt the Front Dirt Late Model for iRacing. Joshua will now be formally hired by the team to design the real car’s wrap ahead of September’s World 100 at Eldora Speedway.
Check out the recap to hear from Joshua and Hunt the Front, and to see a list of some of our team’s favorites.
🧑🎨 ICYMI: Brendan Lyons in the Spotlight

Spire Motorsports graphic designer Brendan Lyons is a relative newcomer to the scene, but he’s already made quite a name for himself, designing graphics and paints within the NASCAR world. He’s the subject of this month’s Artist Spotlight.
🥔 New Verified Official Paint
A new official paint arrived in the Showroom this week — Dean Thompson’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Series car from Pocono Raceway, designed originally by Kyle Williams. (It’s also making us hungry for some kettle chips.)

🏆 Paint of the Week
Blast off with this week’s Paint of the Week, selected by our Community Manager, Patrick! Henry Barton painted this NASA-themed Porsche 963 GTP, which the author says is “inspired by the space shuttle and old school NASA aesthetics.”
