Welcome to This Week on Trading Paints, the pulse on what’s happening in the Trading Paints world while you continue re-learning how to drive like it’s 2003 again.

👀 Coming Soon: July Artist Spotlight

The next installment in our Artist Spotlight series is coming next week — she’s a brand specialist and artist with extensive background in the creative field of motorsports. Check back Tuesday to find out who’s in the spotlight!

👕 Shirts, shirts, shirts!

We’ve got five styles of shirts in the Trading Paints Store. We take our merch very seriously (the best prints, the softest shirts — that sort of thing), so if you want to expand your wardrobe, let us help.

Ryan Williams of JR Motorsports has got it all — the style, the talent, the success. No coincidence that he’s got a Trading Paints shirt, right?

🤓 ICYMI: Season 2 by the numbers

We dropped our quarterly season wrap-up stats earlier this month, analyzing the nearly 3.9 trillion pixels’ worth of paints (929,215 total paints) uploaded to Trading Paints in Season 2 alone. Check out all the stats for yourself.

ORMA Simracing (Orange Machines) is a simracing team formed at least 10 years ago, beginning with games like Gan Turismo 5 and Project Cars 2, and has evolved into iRacing. Although it’s currently largely inactive, ORMA will always be present, as today it’s more of a feeling than a team for those of us who have been part of it. Therefore, I invite you to be part of this feeling by enjoying this incredible concept design I’ve created. by Ecdysis Design

📢 Community Shoutouts

There have been a lot of Gen 4 paints added to the Showroom since the launch of the NASCAR 2003 cars earlier this month, but we’d like to give a special shoutout to Christian Budd, who’s been busy uploading too many replica paints to count! (Though, we’re a bit unsettled by the blursed Dodge Fords.)

Sim racing veteran Kevin King has been adding a suite of Gen 4 nostalgia to his profile, including paints he had a hand in designing in the early 2000s.

We’ve been keeping an eye on what our friends at BIG EVIL Designs have been up to, including work on Gen 4 Ford Taurus template modifications in the style of their popular Gen 4 Chevrolet Monte Carlo add-ons.

🏆 Paint of the Week

Painter Tyler King has been busy painting the entirety of Mike Bliss’ 2005 NASCAR Cup Series season cars, including the No. 0 Netzero car from the season-opening Daytona 500. Community Manager Patrick selected the replica as this week’s Paint of the Week.
