🎨 Paint Builder Product Update: Mirror Clone improvements
We released a small update Monday for Paint Builder focused on improving the Mirror Clone feature. Here’s everything that changed:
New
- Added Mirror Clone as an option when multiple layers are selected. Previously, Mirror Clone was only available on grouped layers or individual single layers.
Improved
- Improved the behavior of Mirror Clone for groups to more closely mimic using Mirror Clone on individual layers. This was done with the goal of improving moving copies of logos from one side of a car to the other.
- A right-click context menu will now appear when multiple layers are selected. Previously, right-clicking when multiple layers were selected would only open the context menu for a single layer.
Fixed
- Fixed an issue where, if your Default Shape Settings had a Stroke setting of 0, newly-drawn shapes from the Line Tool and Brush Tool did not appear (because these tools are strokes and their value was set to 0 pixels wide).
- Fixed an issue where shadow opacity wasn’t changing for text layers with drop shadows assigned.
- Fixed an issue where Mirror Clone was behaving differently for shape layers than it was for logo layers.
These updates are now available in Paint Builder for all Trading Paints Pro members.
