2013 Aston Martin Vantage GTE - Gulf Concept Livery by Samuel J Ball - Trading Paints

Gulf livery from the Aston Martin Vantage GTE car ran at LeMans forthe 2013 race, adapted to suit the new Valkyrie. I had this one in mind as soon as the Valkyrie was announced for iRacing! Possibly my favourite adaption of the classic Gulf Oil colours ran on the Vantage, I’ve kept the same basic theme but made a few tweaks to better suit the Valkyire, in particular at the rear of the car and sides. Plenty of little details in this one, my favourite being the stripes on the mirrors. Although, I have had to leave the square panels around the airline ports unpainted due to a fault in the paint template. If this gets fixed, I’ll be sure to update accordingly.

🏆 Paint of the Week

Community Manager Patrick selected this Jeffrey Stanton recreation of a 2007 asphalt sprint car driven by Kevin Swindell (who’s also an iRacer) as this week’s Paint of the Week. In the newly-released Season 4 build, iRacing revamped the cult-classic asphalt sprint car, and it’s a fun vehicle if you want to feel terrified whenever you press the gas pedal. Try it out!
