We recap the latest iRacing season with some statistics and figures from the community, including most popular cars and painters.

Recap: 2025 Season 1 by the numbers

With yet another iRacing season in the history books, we’re taking a look back at what’s kept the Trading Paints community abuzz these past 13 weeks — our third edition of the Trading Paints season wrap-up.

A total of 981,100 new custom paints were assigned during 2025 Season 1 alone. Yes, nearly a million new paints gracing the iRacing circuit. Way to go!

Top Color Codes Used in Season 1

Of the over 4 trillion pixels’ worth of new paints assigned in Season 1, these were the most common colors used in custom paints.

A bold yellow #FECE02 took top honors, followed by cool-blue #3E89CD and bright-red #D50808 hue. Big primary-color energy this season, apparently.

Most-Raced Showroom Paints in Season 1

The new BMW M2 CS Racing swept the top-three spots in the Showroom this past season. Luke Mahone’s homage to a 20-year-old Need for Speed title took top honors, being raced over a thousand times since the season started.

Racer Jarno D’Hauw’s DTM BMW M2 Cup Randstad came in second in Season 1, ahead of longtime painter Stephane Parent’s Red Bull ride.

Most Favorited Showroom Paints in Season 1

Spoiler alert: Daytona replicas were awfully popular in the Showroom during Season 1.

Samuel J Ball’s digital re-creation of the 2025 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac earned the most favorites in Season 1, just ahead of the official Justin Allgaier Traveller Whiskey Chevrolet in the JR Motorsports Cup Series debut in the Daytona 500, posted by JRM’s Ryan Williams.

The Daytona-spec AO Racing Rexy, re-created by Patryk Adamczyk, took the third spot on the podium.

(And, yes, the version that Patryk uploaded includes Rexy still with teeth.)

A total of 224,834 Showroom favorites were awarded in Season 1. Don’t forget to hit that Favorite button when you see a paint you like to show the painter some love!

John Rubino continued his reign of most-favorite painter in the Showroom, ahead of Paul R Chaloner and the first appearance of Samuel J Ball on the podium. Congrats, painters!

iRacing’s new (and free!) BMW M2 CS Racing was the most-painted car in Season 1, perhaps unsurprisingly. The NASCAR Cup Series Chevrolet was runner-up, followed by the Porsche 911 GT3 R (992). The BMW and Chevrolet were the only vehicles to eclipse 30,000 new paints in the season.

Thanks for painting with us this season! We appreciate our cool and colorful community.
