This Week on Trading Paints: August 7, 2026
News and updates from the world of Trading Paints from the past week while you’re looking for more statues at Barber.
Welcome to This Week on Trading Paints, the pulse on what’s happening in the Trading Paints world.
🔢 Number Day 2026 is in the books!
Monday, August 3 (8/3 in some places) was Number Day, a celebration of all things numbers when it comes to custom paints and motorsport design.
We celebrated with an Instagram giveaway for remixing a Number Builder number, and shared our much-anticipated list of top numbers used on Custom Number paints in the past year.
Several notable community artists shared their take on the role of numbers in their designs, too.
🧑🎨 New: Camille Yetter in the Spotlight

Director of Graphic Design for Front Row Motorsports, Camille Yetter, didn’t set out for a career in motorsports, but a serendipitous suggestion from a professor took her from the world of horses to horsepower. She’s the focus of August’s Artist Spotlight.
✨ New Verified Official Paints
Plenty of new official paints arrived this week in the Trading Paints Showroom.

We just can’t quite close our browser tabs containing these paints this week.

🔢 From the Number Showroom
Here are some new custom numbers from the Number Showroom that caught our eye. (Number Day was Monday, so we’ve got a lot to share! And plenty more we can’t post since we’re running out of space in today’s article, oops.)

Keep posting your numbers from Number Builder, and we’ll continue to share what we like!
🏆 Paint of the Week
This week’s Paint of the Week, selected by our Community Manager Patrick, is this bright pink Mini Stock from Joshua Wright, winner of our recent Proving Grounds Challenge.
